A Show in the Making

I’ve just put together a new collection of my digital paintings—and now I’m in that in-between place. The work is done (well, mostly… a few new pieces will be created just for the show), and I’ve started reaching out to galleries and creative spaces to find the right venue. So now I wait—and wonder.

I’m wondering where these paintings will hang.

What color will the walls be behind them?

Will the space be bright and airy, or dark and moody with spotlights?

Who walks through that space? What kind of folks stop and look?

Each piece is a high-resolution digital painting, printed on deep-wrapped canvas and hand-embellished with gold or silver accents—just enough to catch the light when you shift your gaze. Every painting also has a companion video: either a process video showing how it was made or an animated short that brings the image to life. I plan to include a QR code on the title card for each one, so people can scan and watch on the spot. I wonder who will take the time to do that. I hope at least a few people will.

This will be the first time I’m putting this work up for sale. It feels exciting—and a little vulnerable. But mostly exciting. These pieces feel ready to be seen, and I’m ready to share them.

If you know of a venue that might be a good fit—or if you’re someone who just loves art and wants to follow along—feel free to reach out or stay tuned. I’ll post updates here and on my socials.

And if you’re curious, here’s an example of one of the short animated videos connected to the work:

Thanks for being part of the journey.
